A sample of some of the events I have planned over the last few years.
Fitness Stars Announcement Event 2014

In June of 2014, the Dallas Stars invited all applicants of the Fitness Stars grant out to an announcemet event that took place on AT&T Plaza at the American Airlines Center. Over 300 schools were represented as we announced that every single school who applied for the grant would be receiving it for the 14-15 school year. Fitness Stars sponsor, Floorbal Planet, was on-site to provide some of the hockey equipment for teachers and students to play with and show off the product their schools would be receiving over the next few months.
Fitness Stars Train the Trainer
Each Fitness Stars district received proper hockey training from the Dallas Stars Youth Hockey department and Dallas Stars street squad before the beginning of the school year. 12 of these events were given over the course of 30 days to reach the 307 schools who were granted the program for the 14-15 school year. Each school received a full set of Floorball equipment, Fitness Stars bracelets with charms for every student, all necessary collateral, and much more to make eating healthy and staying fit fun for the students involved.
Little Rookies Kick-Off Event

The Little Rookies program was designed by hockey legend and former Dallas Star, Mike Modano, as a way to give children an opportunity to try hockey for free across DFW. Every rink in the metroplex offers the Little Rookies program, whether the Stars own them or not, as way to increase the total number of youth hockey participants as a whole, not just at a specific ice facility. Since its inception in September of 2013, Little Rookies has introduced over 3,000 children to the sport of hockey and had increased rink revenue by over $90,000 from continuing hockey programs.
